We are a team of researchers, data scientists, and behavioral healthcare experts dedicated to providing meaningful insight.
Privacy and transparency are very important to us. This Privacy Statement addresses the data we process about individual authors of content (“Author”, “user”,“you” or “your”) on, through or related to the services we offer to our users. We crawl, index and analyze data from the Internet that you grant us access to. We also contract directly with third party providers to gain access to their data. In each case, the data we have access to is published or made available by Authors.
You authorize which types of data that we access. Some of this data may be personal information about you (for example your name or username in connection with your Twitter or Facebook profile) and other data may not be (for example if you publish an anonymous review on a website).
As you the author are the source of the raw data, you have control over that data within the platform you choose to publish it on (e.g. Twitter or Facebook), including through using the privacy settings made available to you by that platform. In addition to whatever rights you have via your relationship with any publishing platform, you also have certain rights with respect to your personal information that we process, as set out in this Privacy Statement.

If you want to take full advantage of the capabilities we offer, we might also ask you to authorize an account integrated with third party services and products for example Facebook, which may include user interaction data. This may include “public information” which means the information you choose to make public, information that is always publicly available, and private information you have elected to share with us.
Whenever you interact with Qntfy products and/or Services, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser or device, which may include your IP address, device identification, “cookie” information, the type of browser and/or device you’re using to access our Services, and the page or feature you requested. Qntfy uses this data to improve our products and/or Services – for example, this data can tell us how often users use a particular feature of the products and/or Services, and we can use that knowledge to improve user experience for our customers.
For more information about “Cookies”, see the key terms section of this document below.
In order to obtain user interaction data, Qntfy may use mobile tracking technologies such as cookies, geolocation, browser history, as well as embedded code in the program itself, in order to operate the service efficiently. This user interaction is used to collect data related to your usage of and interaction with the service, and general use and interaction with your mobile device.
All such collected data (collectively, “User Interaction Data”) may include how and when you use your mobile device for communications with others, including mobile phone and text use, and your location and speed of movement while you use your mobile device. We do not access or collect the content of your mobile phone communications, such as conversations or text messages unless explicitly authorized. These data source settings may be adjusted by the user at any time in their personal account settings.
We collect the following personal information in connection with Qntfy products and services: (a) when you register to use a Qntfy product or service, whether in your individual capacity or on behalf of an organization, we may collect the personal information that is disclosed on our registration forms, such as your name, email address and other information detailed herein (the “Account Data”); (b) if you communicate with us by email, we will collect your email address; and (c) if you use Qntfy services to respond to surveys and questions from an Institutional Client, we may collect the information you provide in your responses, such as health information (if any) (the “User Survey Data”). Such User Survey Data includes, but is not limited to, your answers or submissions to study surveys and health questionnaires, inferred health status for specific conditions, and survey alerts. The User Survey Data, together with the User Interaction Data, is referred to as “Unprocessed User Data.” We may also collect certain demographic information, such as age and gender, that may be disclosed by you. When explicitly authorized by you, Qntfy may collect data from third-party services. These services, i.e. social networks, allow Qntfy to access the data on your profile, and to communicate with you regarding your posts. These services are not activated automatically, they require express authorization by the user.
Even if you do not register with or provide any Personal Information to Qntfy, we collect Non-Personal Information about your use of the Qntfy Website, products and/or services. “Non-Personal Information” means information that we cannot use to identify or contact you. We will use and store Personal Information for the purpose of delivering and improving our products and services and to analyze and enhance our operations. Personal Information may be used in order to share insights, clinical use, allow for additional research, collaborations, product development, and to garner insights about the data that we gather over time. Qntfy may anonymize your Personal Information, or de-identify your health information in a way that meets the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) de-identification standard, so that the data will no longer be identifiable to you.
We will create statistical, aggregated data relating to our users and the Service for analytical purposes. Aggregated data includes data derived from Personal Information and obtained by Qntfy from other sources in aggregated, anonymous form and does not identify any individual (such data is referred to as “Aggregate Information”). Subject to applicable laws and regulations, we use Aggregate Information to understand our customers and to develop, improve and/or market our Services. We may provide Aggregate Information to third parties.
Qnfty will not disclose Personal Information about you unless specifically agreed to by you or:
Qntfy will neither rent nor sell your Personal Information in personally identifiable form to anyone. However, we may share your Personal Information with third parties as described in this section:

These studies may include correlation analysis by Qntfy, and University or Industry studies. All research projects are subject to special approval.
We may disclose information to a Coroner or Health Examiner. This may be necessary to help them identify someone or determine the cause of death. We may also release health information about clients to funeral directors when necessary to carry out their duties.
We may de-identify or anonymize your Personal Information so that you are not individually identified, and provide that information to our partners and/or affiliate organizations. We also may combine your de-identified information with that of other users to create aggregate de-identified data that may be disclosed to third parties who may use such information to understand how often and in what ways people use our services, so that they can provide you with an optimal online experience. For example, we may use information gathered to create a composite profile of all the users of the Program to understand community needs, to design appropriate programs and activities, and to assess real world validity and feasibility assessments. However, we never disclose aggregate information to a partner in a manner that would identify you personally, as an individual.

We have implemented the following technical safeguards to minimize the potential risk of a privacy breach:
Qntfy does not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from persons under 13 years of age without the express consent of a guardian parent, and no part of the Service is directed at persons under 13. If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use the Service. If you have any questions or comments regarding our privacy practices, you may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) defines personally identifiable information (PII) as "information which can be used to distinguish or trace an individual's identity, such as their name, social security number, biometric records, etc. alone, or when combined with other personal or identifying information which is linked or linkable to a specific individual, such as date and place of birth, mother’s maiden name, etc."
Transport Layer Security (TLS) encrypts the connection between your computer and Qntfy. This helps prevent others, like Internet cafes, Internet Service Providers, and Wi-Fi hotspots, from seeing your activity and login information, giving you a more secure and private experience. While TLS helps protect your interaction with the Qntfy interface, which may include personal results from social media sites, it doesn't provide complete security.
